Helloooo so the blogs begin again. It has certainly been an interesting few days here. First, my flight was delayed, BUT I got upgraded to business class. That made me quickly forget about the delay. I got a delicious salmon dinner with cesar salad, and cherry ice cream in a chocolate covered waffle bowl, and cereal and champagne and a "comfort package" including socks, ear plugs, a toothbrush etc. It was amazing. For once I actually slept on the plane. Then I got here, missed the group transportation so I had to take a cab all the way back to the castle. After unpacking we celebrated in the pub, and thanks to my good friend jetlag, I didn't sleep til 10 AM!!!! I was awake ALLLLLLL NIIIIIGHT. Then i slept til 3pm which was kind of disorienting. Later that evening we had a wine and cheese night where the teachers were introduced. Most of my teachers are the same, except my new geo prof is hardcore Russian, and I could barely understand anything she was saying. Im also considering transferring into a 200 level Geo course about sustainability. It sounds cool and I talked to the prof and she seems pretty amazing. I had my first day of class today (well I only had one class, at 8:30am of course..) and it was okay. I have 3 8:30 classes during the week!!!
So... what's coming up in the near future? I just booked flights to Budapest or February, before we got to Brussels and Paris, and I got my field studies calender so I have a geo field study next weekend, A trip to Oxford and a trip to a Hindu Temple all in this month. I'm also trying to plan a trip for this weekend, since everyone has it off..
OH! IT SNOWED HERE! it only lasted like an hour but it was very pretty. I guess the snow followed me and just about every other student here haha.
Miss you all.
